Indigo Girls

http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/window/media/player/video/0,,4204305,00.html

On occasion, I like to post music that I like listening to. I have loved the Indigo Girls since my college days. I can listen to them all day. I thought I would share with you one of my favorite songs.

Disposible VS Cloth Diapers.

Okay, I had a thought the other day, that would I try something new with this baby. I googled cloth diapers, found how cute they are now. I researched the pros and the cons all of course leaded me to believe(for a nano second) that I wanted to use cloth diapers. They are apparently better for baby, safer for the environment and can save you a ton of money. I was brought back to reality when I saw the huge pile of laundry at home. I always have a huge pile of laundry. Okay, on occasion we will actually go to the laundry mat and do every stitch of laundry we may have, so I can get caught up. Then I will get home and the kids will change into Jammie's and I have another pile of clothes laughing at me, mocking me, screaming HA--you thought you were done. So, needless to say. I do not want another unnecessary load of laundry. I am sorry. It was a good thought. I just cannot do it. Plus one cloth diaper is at least $15.95 yikes ONE diaper how is that saving money, when nursing newborns go through between 8-10 diapers a day. If I remember correctly.

Turkey Cupcakes

Okay, these are just too cute. The kids would love to make these, and I would love to gobble them up.

This year Christmas Ornaments

I decided this year and the girls being as helpful as they are. I wanted to decorate my tree in these homemade stars. I think the tree will look cute tree packed with these and some ribbon. I have a lot of nice ornaments that have become very fragile with all the handling that my little over zealous helpers. I would like to preserve them. So, I think this year we will make these with Christmas paper. I will post template shortly.

You are 10 weeks pregnant.

You are 10 weeks pregnant.: "incredible amount during these past few weeks, but you still aren't showing too much yet. Fetus in pregnancy week 10Click for a bigger movie of this busy boy"

We are just guessing and will not know for sure but we are thinking I might be at 10 weeks. Seeing this video of this baby really makes it real.....Let me know what you think....

The big day finally arrived.

The long awaited day has finally arrived. Kaylor finally lost her second loose tooth. It has been loose for months. The last few weeks it was just hanging there. She would not let us wiggle it or even touch it. The day was Monday and she accidentally bonked it and it came out. They were at the house working on the remodel, and me and Brayden were home. When they got home Jarrod handed a surprise to me. It took a second to figure out what it was, it was Kaylor's tooth. Yahoo. She was so excited. It finally happened. She brushed it really good and went straight to bed. The next morning, she woke up and checked and sure enough the tooth fairy had come. She had 4 quarters and a crisp one dollar bill. She was ecstatic.

When we decided to tell everyone that I was pregnant. We had Kaylor call and say that she was going to be a big sister!! This is how she said it. "Hi Grandma, I am going to be a big sister and I have a loose tooth!" We cracked up. So, her day has finally arrived and she looks adorable toothless.

Doctor's Appt.

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. He confirmed that I was indeed pregnant. I do not go see my OB Dr. Until Nov. 19. The doctor took me off some of the Asthma medications I take, and prescribed an antibiotics for an infection that I have been fighting. So, I was really sick, and pregnant. I do feel better now that I know I am pregnant and not dying. Ha ha. We are in the process of remodeling a house and packing up our apartment. So, needless to say I am a little overwhelmed at the moment. Where do I start, and how do I muster up the energy to do it all. I think once I start taking the antibiotics it will help a little. Jarrod has been taking up most of the slack, and doing most of all the remodeling--Plus working two jobs. Lately, I have gone to work, came straight home, snuggled the girls and helped with homework. The house is a disaster. UGH......I get so anxious when it is messy. I would hate it if anybody came over. I am going to go tonight and try to clean the kitchen. I just hope and pray there is nothing smelly. I am not usually a wimp, when it comes to being pregnant. This time, because I didn't know that I was, everything seems magnified and so different from the other times. Plus, I am older and really, really tired......Okay......I am done.

Leg Warmers!!

Is that the cutest thing. Ever!!!

I have a baby shower for my nephew and sister -in -law coming up. I ran across The Polkadot Platypus Blog These are so cute. Especially for new little crawlers. I just had to share. I really love baby stuff, now I get to start looking again for my own.

Kaylor is in school now, and I was just settled in having 3 children. WE WERE DONE! I was for sure. Well, Heavenly Father had other plans and brace yourself. You may want to sit down for the news!! Not sure of Jarrod's family!! It's a baby!!. Where do I start. I called the doctor I have my first appointment on Monday. I think I may be Due in June. Not sure!! I started not feeling weel back in September. I thought I was just not feeling well. It wasn't until Jarrod kept asking me if I was okay, that he went down and bought me a pregnancy test. Remember, this is not even a possibility in my mind.....Well, I took it! Its showed up positive. We both said NO WAY!! I took another one, and it showed up positive too. Now, how I was feeling makes sense. DUH!!! Well, now that I am, I hope all my friends and family can be excited. We are! A sweet baby will soon be on it's way and now I cannot wait. Okay, I can. Brayden and Ellie

This was the first year Brayden went somewhere else for Halloween. I was kind of sad. She is growing up. Ellie is her Best Friend so I let her go with her family. I missed her. We had lots of fun, but it wasn't until she came home that I saw her dressed up. The wanted to get ready over at Ellie's house and have her big sister do their hair and make-up. Brayden came home with a fever and ended up staying home today. Poor baby....
