Jarrod looked great!
notice Ashlynn. Middle Child....looking miserable. Once we got her make on she hated it. She cried for about an hour. Notice her shirt all white with makeup. She hated how the make-up felt. She was not going to be happy.
Brayden loved it. She is a ham!
When we got to the party we let her wash it off. This was supposed to be fun RIGHT? Remind me next year costumes with no make-up....

click here to download the "Lavender Eye Pillow" pattern with slipcover & carrying caseThis pattern includes instructions and measurements. The samples in the cover photo are made with Amy's Belle fabrics. This is funny, I am so glad Jarrod wasn't like this. To be honest I was/am more like this than he is. He has always helped clean up throw up when I couldn't.........such a good guy....
The older girls are so hard to get pictures of now....
at least he smiled......
even these guys did too.
Last night for FHE we decided we were going to the Halloween Spirit Store for the last few things we needed for a Halloween Party we are going to on Friday. Last year Kaylor was terrified and I don't blame her of all the scary things. Jarrod took her up to one of the props and said, " Look it's not real!" she was about to trust him and it screamed a horrendous scream and lifted it's head off. She screamed and grabbed on to him and tight as she could, needless to say we immediately left. He felt so bad. Poor girl...This year she decided she was brave and wanted to go. She still is a little timid, and you can tell in her face she not to sure....This store is pretty scary....

These are the cutest!! I found these on roomsomewhere The daddy-daughter dancing shoes. I can just picture Jarrod wearing these and dancing with his little girls.

I am half way through this book and can hardly put it down. This is an intriguing story of a family that adopts children during a time when mixed race was intolerable. Not, only do they adopt one they adopt twelve children of different racial and special needs. She is a very brave women as she tends to these children, basically on her own, while her husband is busy with school and career. They have articles written about them in LIFE and Readers Digest. That is where I am at in the book.
