Book Club "The Family Noboday Wanted" by Helen Doss

I am half way through this book and can hardly put it down. This is an intriguing story of a family that adopts children during a time when mixed race was intolerable. Not, only do they adopt one they adopt twelve children of different racial and special needs. She is a very brave women as she tends to these children, basically on her own, while her husband is busy with school and career. They have articles written about them in LIFE and Readers Digest. That is where I am at in the book.

I would recommend this book. Enjoy.....

Yay! I'm so glad you guys are loving it. This has been my favorite-favorite since I was just a little girl. My mom first read it to me when I was 8. Can't wait to get together and discuss!
